Sally was the Stud manager at Lammerskraal Stud for 32 years, during that time the stud grew into a world class operation with an outstanding record of success, including three national sire championships; Two Equus Horse of the Year award winners, numerous broodmare championships; top prices at yearling sales and a host of stakes winners; including a Triple Crown winner.

Horses bred by Sally consistently average over 50% winners to runners and the AEPR statistics bear comparison with the best in the country.

One thing you won’t find among the statistics is Sally’s proud record of converting foals into racehorses, almost 100% of her foal crop make it to the racecourse. Many of South Africa’s leading trainers chose Sally to prepare their young horses. Sally likes to give young horses a sound early education and send horses from the farm to the trainer, ‘ready to race’.

Sally is embracing the fresh opportunity at Paardeberg Stud with great enthusiasm. Beginning anew affords her the chance to imprint her signature style on the farm and establish all the essential elements required for breeding elite racehorses. She shares the aims of her co-owners to position the Stud among the ranks of South Africa's most esteemed thoroughbred producers.
